London’s air is toxic, causing 9,500 deaths each year.
The Mayor of London’s consultation, which ends this Friday, considers new charges on
the most polluting cars in central London and the expansion of the proposed Ultra Low Emission Zone.
I’ve sent this response to the Mayor today.
Please let him know your views and encourage him
to take the radical action required to make our air safe
for all Londoners to breathe.
Mayor Of London)London Assembly
Pollution in London is a public health priority and the equivalent of 9,416 Londoners die early every year due to air pollution.
Sadiq Khan, your Mayor, has plans to improve your health by cleaning up London’s air and wants to hear your ideas.
To have your say, take part in the air quality survey (it only takes around 10 minutes) and join in the discussion on Talk London.
What are Sadiq’s proposals?
How is Sadiq listening to Londoners?
