Police in London have said they will investigate a video taken from inside a vehicle that shows a passenger pushing a cyclist off his bike and into a bus stop on one of the capital’s Cycle Superhighways.
Mark Treasure, chair of the Cycle Embassy of Great Britain, retweeted a post from Twitter user @CALMDOWNLAD that was subsequently deleted – but not before a copy had been made and flagged up to the Metropolitan Police’s Cycle Safety Team, who said they would investigate on Monday.
Ah, tweet has suddenly been deleted (I wonder why…). Here’s the video pic.twitter.com/w239l2StNZ

Thank you I am aware of that however I am currently on leave and will pick this up Monday

It’s unclear when the video was shot, or where it originated. It carries the logo of an Instagram account called @imjustnews, opened in July this year and which posts viral content from other sources, although this specific video does not appear to be on its feed.
The location has been identified as Balham Hill, SW12 on the route of Cycle Superhighway 7, and the video shows a rear seat passenger leaning out of the window to shove the cyclist.
Anyone with information should contact the Metropolitan Police Cycle Safety Team through Twitter.
