Campaign for Better Transport)
I’m sending you this message to ask for your help in exposing the threats we face from road building, on national radio.
We’re supporting campaigners fighting Highways England’s damaging plans for the Liverpool Port Access Road which would see the Rimrose Valley Country Park destroyed to provide a new lorry route.
We understand that the Jeremy Vine show on BBC Radio Two will have an item about these plans on the show tomorrow, Tuesday 30 January. The show is broadcast 12 noon – 2pm.
The show features live calls and comments from listeners, so this is a great opportunity for you to support local campaigners in Liverpool but also to highlight similar threats in your area.
Don’t leave all the airtime to the road builders and their allies!
