There had been reports of the event being pulled, but the Mr Porter London Nocturne will take place on Saturday 9th June
The Mr Porter London Nocturne will return to the capital’s streets next month, with the event taking place on a closed circuit in the shadow of St Paul’s Cathedral on Saturday 9th June. The event was previously sponsored by Rapha and there had even been a suggestion that it wouldn’t be going ahead.
In years past the London Nocturne centred around Smithfield Market, an almost ideal location with a central area for riders plus an abundance of bars, pubs and food outlets around the length of the circuit.
The move to elsewhere in the City of London was met with scepticism in some quarters, but the change of parcours seemingly hasn’t affected the quality of racing.
