Available for free on iOS, the goal of the app is said to be to “improve bike lane design and enforcement”, with data gathered to be shared with the Denver Public Works Department.
The app will display past reports as pins on the map, enabling a historic picture of troublespots and offenders to be documented. The app allows the cyclist to take a photo and tag it to the city’s bike infrastructure.
Though limited to the U.S. city at present, we imagine the Google Maps-based app could easily be replicated for cities around the globe.
