Cycling UK is asking everyone in Scotland to contact their MSPs to ask them to support the proposed 20mph speed limit bill that has been proposed by Mark Ruskell MSP. Can you help?
We support this bill, because lower speeds lead to safer streets which are easier for cycling and walking. Reducing the speed limit to 20 mph is one of the simplest ways to reduce road casualties and make streets feel safer.
The Restricted Roads (20mph Limit) (Scotland) Bill has cross-party support already, but the more MSPs that back it by 19 December, the more likely it will become legislation – and we need your help to make this possible!
You can use our template letter to ask your MSPs to support 20mph streets, just fill in your details below and click “next”.
