This week’s Good Facility of the Week is one of a series of bridges on the Two Tunnels Railway Path in Bath.
The Two Tunnels Path is a former railway line that has been brought back into use as a walking and cycling path, with several of the bridges on the outskirts of Bath replaced. This particular bridge spans an existing railway line, parallel to a road bridge – both have recently been rebuilt as a consequence of upgrading of the mainline railway line beneath.
This bridge allows people cycling to cross the railway without coming into conflict with motor traffic. You can see it in use in this video
