We will be holding this year’s Annual General Meeting from 9am, with reports, discussion of current activities and appointment of a new committee. See our website for further details and links: www.lccg.org.uk
The AGM will be followed by the East Midlands Cycle Forum from 10am-1pm. We look forward to hearing from groups in Derby, Chesterfield, Nottingham and Loughborough what has been happening in their areas.
STOP PRESS: Our guest speaker will be Brian Deegan, expert on cycling infrastructure design and people-friendly cities (currently working on Greater Manchester with Chris Boardman, and advising Leicester City Council).
The last hour of the Forum (12-1pm) will be given over to the topic of air quality and the contribution cycling can make to improving the health of our cities. Once the meeting is done, we’ll take a ride around the city, ending up somewhere for a bite to eat.
Please come along to as much of the meeting as you can and invite others along who are interested in these particular issues.
