A public meeting will be held at The George IV in Chiswick High Road on Monday, April 30 to hear what local election candidates have to say about Tfl’s plans for Cycle Superhighway CS9.
Members of the apolitical group RedesignCS9 have hired the public function room at The George IV for a community meeting ahead of the May 3 elections.
The Group has invited all local election candidates standing in the W4 wards to attend the meeting which will be chaired by the former BBC and Classic FM presenter Susannah Simons.
The two-hour meeting starts at 7pm. Admission is free.
RedesignCS9 spokesperson David Lesniak said, “By deferring a decision on CS9 until after the May elections, the London Borough of Hounslow has made CS9 a critical local election issue for the residents and traders of W4.
“This meeting is a chance for voters to engage in positive and constructive dialogue with the candidates seeking election on May 3 and for them to better understand and hear what local people have to say regards plans to build a Cycle Superhighway along Chiswick High Road.”
RedesignCS9 is asking W4 residents and traders to confirm their attendance at the meeting in advance by email to redesignCS9group@gmail.com.
