Spent the evening making the coffin placards for Saturday’s National Funeral for the Unknown Cyclist.
The whole idea of a national symbolic funeral with three horse drawn hearses and a bike hearse is to try to being home to people emotionally, the huge price in coffins we pay as a society for our lack of a National Protected Cycleway Network.
1000s dead from car pollution
1000s dead from climate breakdown
1000s dead from asthma
1000s dead from obesity
1000s dead from diabetes 2
And playstreets devoid of kids…. imprisoned in their homes.
Its time for our government to invest #£6Billion4CyclingPerYear in a National Protected Cycleway Network.
