This week’s Good Cycling Facility is a protected cycleway in the London borough of Waltham Forest.
The cycleway here has additional protection from motor traffic in the form of planting. It is just one small part of a major improvement to the Whipps Cross junction, formerly a large, fast roundabout which has been changed to a T-junction with protected cycleways and a bus terminal.
