This week’s Good Cycling Faciltiy is a protected bi-directional cycleway in the city centre of the Hague in the Netherlands.
There is an entry point for motor traffic here into a business park – the movements of cycle traffic and motor traffic are completely separated, via traffic signals. There is an induction loop mounted in the asphalt to detect the presence of cycles, ensuring any waits for a green signal are kept to an absolute minimum.
