Gentle, leisurely ride from the Sidings Community Centre to Claremont Park, including playground and café. Suitable for families and beginner cyclists. Return just under 10km/6 miles.
Meet 14:00 (2pm) at Sidings Community Centre, 150 Brassey Road, London, NW6 2BA for 14:15pm start. 10km/6 miles round trip. Back around 17:00pm.
This guided ride is suitable for families, beginners, and those lacking confidence. This is an opportunity to get out on your bike with friendly, like-minded people for a gentle ride to Claremont Park which has playgrounds, a café and an ice cream kiosk. We will be using low traffic roads and some no-traffic paths shared with pedestrians.
Children are welcome and encouraged but must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).
The playground has a sandpit so come prepared with buckets and spades. There is also table tennis and a ball play area. The café provides refreshments and there is an exhibition about the planned development at Brent Cross Town for those who may not be so interested in the playground.
We are planning to go via Blackberry Path which has some barriers so will not be suitable for cargo bikes. An alternative would be to ride up Westbere & Litchfield Roads and Cricklewood Lane.

We will also need experienced cyclists to help with those less confident so get it touch if you’d like to help.
You need to register on Eventbrite for this ride.
