Join us on Saturday 4th October for a community bike ride around Dartmouth Park! This ride is organised by local families and Camden Cyclists and calls for greater safety measures for walking, wheeling, and cycling in the area. It’s a fun, family-friendly event with a relaxed pace and a short and easy route, suitable for young children on pedal bikes and new cyclists of any age. We’ll be pointing out special trees and their beautiful autumn colours along the way.
Please decorate your bike in autumn themed if you like.
📍 Meeting Point: Navigator Square (by Archway Tube, in front of the Archway Tavern)
🕚 Time: Gather at 11:00 AM for a departure at 11:45 AM.
🚲 Duration & Route: A gentle 30-40 minute ride through neighbourhood streets, finishing at Parliament Hill
🍂 Children must be accompanied by an adult who remains responsible for them throughout the ride
This marshalled ride will focus on local streets, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Expect a fun, social atmosphere with plenty of marshals supporting the group. Please spread the word!
What to Bring:
✅ A roadworthy bike
✅ Weather-appropriate clothing (October can be rainy!)
✅ A lock if you plan to stay at the Farmers’ Market
✅ Snacks & drinks if needed
✅ Whistles, bells, or music to add to the fun! 🎶🔔
We’ll ride at the pace of the slowest cyclists, and marshals will be on hand to guide the group. Let’s make this a joyful ride while highlighting the need for safer streets in Dartmouth Park!
