Another Family Ride for children and nervous or beginner cyclists. Come and get some experience riding with other cyclists.
This time we will visit Gladstone Park where the nineteenth century politician used to come and get away from it all.
Unfortunately there isn’t a café in Gladstone Park so bring a flask of tea/coffee, refreshments, nibbles and something for the children. We can have a little picnic in the park (weather permitting). The whole ride is less than six miles.
Meet 2:15pm at Sidings Community Centre for a 2:30pm start. Back by 5pm.
You can travel in by train to West Hampstead Thameslink or on the Overground to West Hampstead or Brondesbury or even by Underground on the Jubilee to Kilburn.
Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).
Experienced riders would be welcome to help marshall and take care of the less experienced riders.
I do have a some bikes available for borrowing: one child’s bike, 2 men’s bikes and one folding bike. Get in touch beforehand to check sizes and arrange.
