Not only is this likely to be a uniquely unpredictable election, but we are also in the position here in Camden that we have a leader of a national party standing. As such we have a fantastic opportunity to keep the issue of climate change high on the political agenda and to do so we need to show a strong turnout at the hustings.
Join the debate from 6.30pm on Wednesday, 8th April at Camden School for Girls and hear what the candidates have to say. There will be opportunities to ask questions both in advance and on the evening itself. We have confirmations from Natalie Bennett (Green Party), Will Blair (Conservative), Jill Fraser (Lib Dem) and Sir Keir Starmer (Labour) and the evening will be chaired by Stephen Tindale from Climate Answers.
I’m asking people to register and registration also allows you to ask your question in advance. We won’t be able to accommodate every question but we will try to fit in as many as we can! Alternatively you can add your questions to the CamdenCAN website.

If you can’t make it, I’d also really appreciate it if you could forward this information to people you know, share the link through social media, (there’s an event on facebook, or you can tweet with @camdencanuk) or in any other way you know!
And many thanks to the groups already supporting the event, including Camden Friends of the Earth, Camden Cycling Campaign, Camden Greenpeace, 1010, the London chapter of Global Justice Now and Streetbank and a special thanks to Martins Camisuli architects who are sponsoring the event at Camden School for Girls.
