Camley Street/Agar Grove – proposed pedestrian and cycle link

Dates: consultation 29 August 2007; reply due 10 October 2007. Decision by Council 15 Nov 2007. Officers Dave Stewart and Maria Georgiou. CCC member dealing with it Jean Dollimore. Responded 31 August 2007. APPROVED 15 Nov 2007.

The campaign for this link was started by Peter Wills and Paul Gannon in late 2002. A feasibility study was carried out in 2003. CCC had always hoped it would be funded from the Argent development. But Cllr Paul Braithwaite took up the cause last year and LB Camden has now obtained TfL Greeway funding for the project. Our main concern is that as many people as possible reply in favour of the proposals as there is know to be some opposition to the scheme.
