CCC’s response

We had originally objected to what appeared to be a narrowing of the western end of Jamestown Road at the junction with Oval Road, but following a site visit and discussion with the engineer we were satisfied that this was not the case, and so withdrew our objection. The replacement of single with double yellow lines on Oval Road should make it less likely that vehicles will cut the corner, so this should be an improvement.
