Camden Council’s proposals for improved access to Christopher Hatton School

– Raise the road along Poole’s Building to footway level to provide a step free access to the schools new main entrance.
– Pave the area leading to the schools main entrance and lift and relay the cobbles setts in the carriageway to footway level
– Close off the road along Poole’s Building to all motor vehicles except pedal cycles.

Laystall Street is one way southbound bound between Mount Pleasant and Roseberry Avenue; See Streetview of entrance from Roseberry Avenue http://goo.gl/cYJN9t

It is oneway northbound from Clerkenwell Road to Roseberry Avenue;  See StreetView of entrance from Roseberry Avenu http://goo.gl/w3515m

Two-way cycling through Laystall Street would be a really useful link in a route from Doughty Street to Hatton Garden. We might argue that it would also ease access to Christopher Hatton School by bike.
