Monthly Meetings

Monday 20 March 2017 7.30-9.30pm
Primrose Hill Community Centre
29 Hopkinsons Place, NW1 8TN

We will review cycling infrastructure within Camden and areas we hope to improve provision in the next few months

There’ll be a Business/Committee Meeting here from 6.30pm.

We will not meet in April, due to Easter.

We will hold our Annual Meeting on May 15 at Primrose Hill, as above.

TAVISTOCK PLACE 
Camden Council decided to call for a Public Enquiry into the fate of the cycle tracks, due to procedural issues that could have caused major legal problems if  they were  to be retained.

CS11 BACKLASH!
The motoring mums of Hampstead dressed their kids in facemasks protesting about London’s toxic air. https://www.hamhigh.co.uk/news/environment/pupils_and_parents_protest_at_pollution_around_hampstead_and_highgate_1_4933436 They seem oblivious of the fact that their cars are generating the problems.

Kentish Town Bike Workshop

Kentish Town Health Centre, NW5 2BX
Monday 3 April, 6.30-8.30pm
Monday 8 May, 6.30-8.30pm

Monday 5 June 6.30-8.30.pm

Learn to fix your bike with the help of our expert mechanics. Workshops are held in associattion with Transition Kentish Town. Please come early to avoid disappointment!
Workshops are free but donations are welcome

First Ride of the Year!
Geoff led a short ride at the end of February. We’ve not yet finalised our next rides but willpost them on our website and in newsletters when we know.

 

Other ways to keep in touch and get involved!

Our committee relies on volunteers, and we need a few more to ensure our vital work continues. If you are passionate about cycling and improving the cycling experience in Camden, and can spare 3-4 hours a month, we would love to hear from you. If you’re interested, contact Angela.
