Dutch cargo bike manufacturer Babboe is bringing a new and improved specification of its Dog cargo bike to the market this summer.
The Dog-E electric version of the bike has seen several updates. Complete with a new GWA system, the bike has more power than the previous QWIC system. The bike’s new pedal-assist now has eight different modes rather than six as on older models, along with new LED front and rear lighting which can be controlled from a handlebar switch. The battery has also been upgraded to a more powerful 32.85V 374Wh 11,4Ah with a new 42V 2A 90W charger, along with an updated carrier which is sturdier and more stable.
“The Babboe Dog is the ideal solution for any dog lover, with a ramp that allows even less able dogs to walk in and out of the cargo bike on their own, along with space for two children,” Babboe said. “The bike is also very sturdy and stable, with rings for dog leads to safely secure pets. With bench and belts, one to two children can also be transported alongside dogs.”
Accessories including a non-slip mat and dog pillow are also available. The Babboe Dog-E has an RRP of £2,299, and the standard version RRP is £1,599. These come with a five-year warranty. UK dealers interested in stocking the Babboe Dog-E should contact Babboe at sales.
Earlier this year, Babboe launched the Slim Mountain, aimed at adventurous families.
