The Swiss Cottage Gyratory has, for over 60 years, been a persistent issue for cyclists in much of the western side of Camden. High traffic counts, a lack (or poor maintenance) of cycle infrastructure and a general unwillingness to implement changes here has meant that it remains a dangerous and confusing junction for most cyclists. Despite this, it continues to see record number of cyclists year-on-year, suggesting a clear demand for improved cycling provision.
Read our new report highlighting key issues with the gyratory for cyclists and making short term and long term recommendations for improvement.
