Meet 1:15pm at Sidings Community Centre, 150 Brassey Road, London, NW6 2BA for 1:30pm start. 9 mile round trip. Back before 5pm.
If anyone would prefer to start from Hampstead Heath at 1pm to join the main ride (additional 3 miles each way), book as usual and then send an email to john@camdencyclists.org.uk.
Leisurely ride suitable for families, children, cycling beginners and those lacking confidence. This is an opportunity to get out on your bike with friendly, like-minded people for a gentle ride around some of the parks in Brent, places where you can take the children without encountering too much traffic. All of the parks allow “responsible cycling”.
We will visit 4 parks in Brent: Gladstone Park where the nineteenth century politician used to come and get away from it all, Roundwood Park where there is a café, King Edward VII Park surrounding Willesden Sports Centre and Tiverton Green which has junior-roadway markings for children to ride around safely on their own.
We will also need experienced cyclists to help with those less confident.
You can travel in by train to West Hampstead Thameslink or on the Overground to West Hampstead or Brondesbury or even by Underground on the Jubilee to Kilburn.
Children are welcome and encouraged but must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).

COVID-19 – The safety of our volunteers and participants is important to us. You should not come on this ride if you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or think you may have it. Please make sure you are following the latest government guidance in regards to COVID-19. Please bring a face mask just in case we visit a café or other place that requires them.
