A new zebra is planned in Endell St adjacent (2 metres to the north west) to Shorts Gardens. The existing short loading bay (flanked by 2 pavement buildouts) will be removed and replaced by pavement buildout.
CCC’s response
CCC supported this proposal, but queried the new guardrailing (for the visually impaired) as it will obstruct pedestrian flows along the Shorts Gardens desire line- we proposed use of more tactile paving instead.
