Camden is proposing a 20mph zone for the Primrose Hill area bounded by Prince Albert Road,Avenue Road, Adelaide Road (not to be included within the zone), Albert Terrace, Regent’s Park Road, Primrose Hill Road, Elsworthy Road and Gloucester Avenue (which would be included within the zone).
The following measures are being considered
New 20mph signing and road markings at zone entry points.This will also require 30mph signs at the exits of the zone.
Review of the existing traffic calming features within the proposed zone with a view to upgrading if necessary.
Speed humps along residential roads and raised junction treatments at junctions and entry points of the 20mph zone.
