Jane, Stefano and Richard arrived early with Helen and by 8 o’clock when Jean arrived with the rain, everything was in place.
By 8.30 crowds of cyclists had stopped for a chat, a bite and a brief respite from the rain.
We were visted not only by commuters, but by parents with children on the back.
In spite of the rain, or perhaps because of it, the passers by were happy to mingle in the space under our little gazebo.
We were able to offer our spares to the later customers.
Finally, at about 10 am we closed shop and went home a little damp.
