Camden Council is consulting about the proposed locations in Leighton Road of the bus stops for the new 393 bus route.
There will be one stop for eastbound buses west of Maude Wilkes Close and one for westbound buses near Kenbrook house. It seems that they will simply make space in the road for the two bus stops (which takes away a few parking places).
The drawing shows the bike lanes in place (for what they’re worth) and the leaflet states that the pedestrian islands will be unaffected. The officer tells me that the speed cushions on the approach to each island will remain in place.

CCC’s response
As there were no comments either way, just replied agreeing the positions for the bus stops.
