Camden Council is asking residents in Lawn Road and Downside Crescent
whether they want their road humps replaced after a resurfacing job.

They admit that speed surveys show speeds are higher than when the humps were there, but still below 30 mph.

We should systematically oppose this second example of attempting to remove a traffic calming measure without proposing an alternative.

The speed humps are a measure to calm traffic. This is essential for pedestrian and cyclist safety.
