Camden Council proposes a scheme for two-way cycling on Park Village east, north of Mornington Street. This will allow cyclists to continue north up to Gloucester gate and turn left. Anyone wanting to may any other manoeuvre will need to become a pedestrian. However, I think this is going to be really useful.
It is a simple scheme based on changes of signage and road markings. Short stretches of cycle lane will be marked at entry and exit and cycle symbols will be marked at intervals on the road.

CCC’s response
We discussed this consultation at our meeting on 21st February. We are very pleased that Camden Council has found funding for a scheme to introduce two-way cycling on Park Village east, north of Mornington Street.
This link is very important for access to and from Regents Park and is also an essential part of the local route.
We understand that cyclists arriving at the junction of Parkway/Gloucester Gate can only turn left and we recognise that providing signal support at Parkway is beyond the scope of this scheme. Anyone wanting to make any other manoeuvre (e.g. to Regents Park Road) will need to become a pedestrian. However, I think this is going to be really useful.
