We arrived soon after 7:30 am to find that Paul Davis, Richard Riddle and James from Camden Council Smarter Travel Team had already put up the marquee and laid out the maps and the food provided by Frances of Somerstown Community Cafe. Helen took up her post behind the stall as usual, collecting contact details and giving out maps. She was helped in this task by Mary.

The Dr Bikes : Richard Riddle (Camden Council), Sam from Lunar Cycles, Daniel from Camden Green Bikes and our own John Chamberlain were busy fixing brakes and advising people about their bikes.

Angela and Susan spent most of the morning flagging down cyclists as they came round the corner from Phoenix Road. Ben Knowles the new Cycle to School Project Officer proved an expert at engaging school children while George talked to others.
