This week’s Good Cycling Facility is a cycle path running parallel to a fast N-road (the equivalent of a UK A-road) near the town of Zeist in the Netherlands.
The path is well-separated from the road with a wide verge, and trees have been planted between the path and the road to increase the feeling of safety and separation.
The path also has its own dedicated low-level street lighting. There is an equivalent two-way path on the other side of the road!
