Sadiq Khan Wins High Court ULEZ Battle Sadiq Khan wins High Court ULEZ battle clearing way for Greater London expansion.
Sadiq Khan on Friday confirmed he was pressing ahead with the ULEZ expansion at the end of August, after winning a landmark ruling at the High Court.

Healthy Streets Scorecard 2023: Camden Results The Healthy Streets coalition annual scorecard marks boroughs delivering on six key measures shown to reduce car use and enable active travel.
Top performing London boroughs in 2023 are City, Islington, Hackney and Camden.
100% of Camden’s roads are now 20mph, a significant commitment to reducing road danger. It has also made small but steady progress on introducing protected cycle track (8.7% in 2023, and the best inner London score, excluding the City), low-traffic neighbourhoods (23% in 2023––some way to go to match Hackney’s 69%) and controlled parking zones (96% coverage).
Camden is third overall, behind Islington and Hackney and was acknowledged as top ‘Inner London borough performing better than expected based on housing density’.

Consultation for Silvertown Tunnel Cycle Carriage TfL has launched a new consultation on how it intends to get people with cycles through it.
Let TfL know what you think.
Despite promises to toll both this, and the existing Blackwall Tunnel, Silvertown tunnel will send a percentage of lethal HGVs, cars and some buses from Greenwich into Newham.
Short of repurposing the £2.5 billion costs into something useful for active travel for London, click below to find out more about alternatives.

60% Cycle More After Trying E-bike Sharing Say Lime One of Europe’s largest e-bike sharing businesses, Lime, says that 60% of its users will tend to cycle more trips, more often once they have begun using the service.
Critically, women have historically felt less comfortable cycling, but E-bike schemes like Lime’s report a 73% greater appetite to cycle for this demographic. 24% of female users of Lime’s E-bikes say they have never cycled before the availability of the shared bikes locally.Lime riders feel that the availability of bikes has improved access to workplaces and shopping centres; one in four riders believe the share bikes have a positive economic impact.
Cycle parking delivers 5X higher retail spend per square metre than car parking spaces; consumers also tend to spend longer in town centres.
