Consultation on changes to Raveley and Lupton Streets

Fitzjohn’s Avenue Area Safe and Healthy Streets Consultation
Camden are proposing major changes to Fitzjohn’s Avenue and nearby roads, including 900m of segregated cycle tracks, junction improvements, new and upgraded crossings, a Healthy School Street and planting and greening. Albany Street Cycle and Pedestrian Improvements
Camden are proposing major changes to Albany Street (east of Regents Park), including 2.4 km of segregated cycle tracks, junction improvements and pedestrian and cycle crossings. It’s good to see this but we have issues with the design, especially the narrowness of the proposed tracks. Greening Phoenix Road
Camden are proposing measures to make permanent the trial changes in the Phoenix Road area of Somers Town. Most of the changes relate to the planted areas where planters would be replaced by permanent planted zones and a cycle path delineated but the proposals include some additional restrictions on motor vehicles and a number of other improvements to the streetscape. C51 – Greville Road, Kilburn Priory, Priory Road
Camden are proposing upgrades to Greville Road, Kilburn Priory and Priory Road to extend Cycleway 51 from the Westminster boundary to Abbey Road. The most significant proposals are to pedestrianize part of Kilburn Priory and a ban on motor vehicles entering Greville Road eastbound at Mortimer Crescent. CCC Meeting Minutes 16th December 2024
This month our meeting was dedicated to a talk and Q&A by Sam Margolis (Head of Transport Strategy and Projects, Camden Council) about the Transport Strategy delivery plan for 2025-28. His slides are included. We also briefly discussed the C50 cycle route in Islington and 3 consultations that had been approved.
