This month we discussed Torriano Avenue consultation, various infrastructures decisions and two rides in March.
This month we discussed consultations for street improvements on Torriano Avenue, a Santander Bike docking station on Mount Pleasant and recent decisions on Red Lion Street, Keeley Street and Camden Street Area. We also covered LCC’s ideas for a London Festival of Cycling, the latest KSI data and a project on Hampstead Streets for People.
This month our meeting was dedicated to a talk and Q&A by Sam Margolis (Head of Transport Strategy and Projects, Camden Council) about the Transport Strategy delivery plan for 2025-28. His slides are included. We also briefly discussed the C50 cycle route in Islington and 3 consultations that had been approved.
This month we discussed the new Camden transport strategy, gave an update on council scrutiny committee & cabinet meeting, CTS next 3 year plan, recruited new volunteers, discussed three consultations amongst other items.
This month we discussed the Fitzrovia Consultation and the segregated cycle tracks in Shaftesbury Avenue, Dartmouth Park Liveable Neighbourhood, the new CCC banner and everybody is welcome to suggest venues for meet ups in 2025.
This month we had a guest speaker, Izzy Romilly from “Possible” to discuss the ULEZ expansion, we discussed the Dartmouth Park Heathy Neighbourhood engagement, Rathbone st, CCC social media activity, finding a venue for our monthly meetings, Hill Climb in September & CCC social rides.
We discussed Camden High St pedestrianisation, Camden south area, green mobility hub phase 3, Goods way and Dartmouth park.
In the Conservatory at The Pineapple, Leverton Street, NW5; Steve, Meade and Ema re-elected as Coordinator, Treasurer and Secretary. New committee member Suzanne Weller.
We discussed the Holborn area, the recent tragic death on Farringdon Road, Steven’s audit of the Whitestone Pond area, the Camden Bike Bus, the 2024 LCC Mayoral Campaign and the planned ride to the Lea Valley.
We discussed the TfL Strategic Cycling Analysis, Holborn, LTNs, Rides, ASLs and Cargo Bike parking.
