Prioritise permeability and also include unresolved danger spots (2007)and outstanding schemes from all CRISP Newss. Allocated to areas supploed by Camden Council (Tottenham Court Road/Euston/St Giles; Camden Town (incl Camden East); Kings X (incl. Somers Town); Holborn; West Hampstead; Kentish Town; Kilburn; Finchley Road/Swiss Cottage).
We propose a two-way cycle route between West End Lane and Belsize Road via the west end of Broadhurst Gardens and Priory Road. This could be a useful quiet alternative to the congested part of West End Lane.
Before his election, Mayor Boris Johnson pledged to allow motorised two-wheelers to ride in bus lanes; CCC hopes to take a deputation to the council on 8th September to persuade them to pevent this from happening on Camden’s roads.
