Camden Council is proposing improvements at three locations at or near the junction of Camley Street / Granary Street

Camley Street at the entrance to Camley Street Natural Park

  • A zebra crossing just north of the entrance to the Camley street Natural Park and footway build out on west side of Camley Street (presumably o match the width of the SUDS projection).

Would we like this to be a parallel crossing to help northbound cyvlists to cross over onto the footbridge?

Camley Street and Granary Street junction area

  •  A new raised table across all three arms of the junction
  • a zebra crossing over the Granary Street arm and an uncontrolled crossing point over the southern arm of Camley Street
  • footway build outs on both sides of the Granary Street arm
  • rain garden and bench on SW corner
  • dyls (double yellow lines) and blips round the corners of the junction and on Camley Street opposite  Granary Street  (10m?)

Granary Street at the bend

  • A new zebra crossing on a new raised table (the nearby temporary crossing to be removed)
    • no mention of dyls and blips

Note that this crossing is positioned to access a new footbridge that is to be constructed across the Regents Canal and on to the towpath.
