Regents Park to Gladstone Park Quietway (QW) Early in summer 2014 we had heard that some QWs had been prioritised for completion by 2016 including this one (previously named Jubilee QW) which was was not one of our chosen top five! We were invited to a meeting by Jimmy Hall of Sustrans at the end of July.
August 2015, construction virtually finished – a disaster following our disappointment when the “hold the left” was dropped.

This report presents data collected to study the time required for cyclists to travel across a signalised junction. The time was measured from video surveys undertaken at three relevant junctions. All three junctions have a cycle box; one also has a separate cycle ‘early release’ signal. Times were measured for the first and last cyclist in the box to cross the junction and for the first motor to enter the junction.
