Although Green Fair was cancelled, Bike Fest was held in Regents Park on the Broadwalk on 7th June.
The cyclists breakfast on Wednesday of Bike Week is now in its eleventh year. As usual it was organised by Jane Boardman with strong support from Richard Fletcher and Stafano Casalotti. In spite of bad weather in the preceding week, the weather remained fine, if a little dull all day. Stefano organised Bike Fest and assembled his volunteers in shifts throughout the day. Setting up started at 9 am with the fair opening at noon and clearing up was not completed until after 7 pm. The
Jane, Stefano, Richard, John and Helen were outside the British Library by 7.20 am in time to set up stall before all the early commuters came past. Anne and Jean arrived when it was all set up. Paul Davis and Beverley from the Camden Travel Plan section were there too to help with the stall.
Bikefest was organised by Stefano Casalotti and set up and run with the help of a good team of volunteers. This time we had people from LCC to help with membership issues at our stall. As usual we gave out hundreds of TfL Cycle Guides and managed to chat with regular visitors as well as

This time CCC was joined by members of Camden’s Good Going Team, who brought new free gifts including sunglasses, water bottles and snap on yellow strips.
